Don't you just love school concerts..... Ariah and her first grade friends sang carols for family on Tuesday night. She is such a performer. Her facial expressions and dancing are fabulous! Of course while she was singing little Kaiel felt the urgency to dance. It was so funny. Everyone around us smiled and laughed. I know what to get him for Christmas, some lessons on rhythm.....

Boat Races
Today was an adventure to Papago Park. The kids had spent the morning developing and designing their own individual boats to take to the 'races'. We met the cousins, brought a picnic, and watched the fun. We had 4 age level heats. First the boys. Neko's pirate boat won. Next the little girls. Ariah's got to the bridge first, of course her's had a little spiritual intervention... Kalani and Gabrielle tied in their race, and Jaylene won the big kids. We had so much fun. It was neat to see the creativity and though each child put into their boats.

Thanksgiving....
We are thankful. We are thankful for family, friends, and fun. This weekend has given our family a good share of each of those words. Family to eat and play with, friends to laugh and eat with .... all of it equaling FUN.
Here are the boys, playing in the snow... Kaiel wanted a hat just like everyone else.

The days ahead.
This evening my youngest daughter told me what she wanted for Christmas.... Here's the list....
1. $1000.00
2. A trip to Paris
3. A new baby sister.....
Needless to say, I guess Ariah will NOT be getting anything for Christmas this year. =)
Speaking of Christmas, I refuse to buy junk this year. I do not want any more Barbies, purses, dolls, stuffed animals, etc.... This year I am going to try to convince the little people they all want a room makeover. I hope it works.....

Sunday
Today is Sunday. Sundays are usually filled with the usual, cleaning, laundry.... You know all the things your mom did and taught you to do. Today we are deviating from the norm. We have decided to have a dance competition to see who can dance to Christmas music the best.... During the quiet moments we can hear Choco snorting outside by the front door. (of course those moments are rare when there are 5 children laughing and dancing.....)
